HIV/TB Co Infection in Eastern Europe and Central Asia- Challenges of Drug Resistant TB
The objective of this meeting is to provide an opportunity to share experiences and best practices for enhanced advocacy, resource mobilization and accelerated implementation of collaborative TB/HIV activities within the context of the European region. This meeting will help countries to ensure the coherent inclusion of key activities including relevant policy and programme changes into national strategic and operational plans. The meeting will be held on 16-17 July 2010 in Vienna, Austria
World TB Day March 24, 2010
This day serves to raise awareness around tuberculosis and the subsequent issues it presents. It is an opportunity to remember the millions affected by this disease everyday and rally efforts around the world. TB affects 1/3 of the world and while there is attention paid to this disease, there are still many in need of screening opportunities around the world.
HIMSS 2010
We will be exhibiting the Remi-d booth at HIMSS 2010 in Atlanta, GA. Remi-d is a self-contained, digital chest X-ray system that makes it possible to rapidly deploy the equipment and medical personnel needed to provide chest X-ray screenings in resource limited areas for tuberculosis. The system is designed to overcome the common hurdles to deploying X-ray equipment in these areas and gives health authorities the tools needed to capture, manage and leverage critical information about incidence and prevalence of TB. RSNA 2009
We attended the 2009 RSNA conference November 29 through December 4. The mission of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) is to promote and develop the highest standards of radiology and related sciences through education and research. The Society seeks to provide radiologists and allied health scientists with educational programs and materials of the highest quality, and to constantly improve the content and value of these educational activities.

HIMSS is a not-for-profit organization that promotes education and better understanding of healthcare information and management systems.
